A Natural Acne Treatment Should Include Good Ol’ Sleep. PDF Print E-mail
An observance of nature will show us that animals love relaxation and sleep. They get as much sleep as they want. Rest and sleep are essential to recharge our nervous energy as our physical, emotional and mental balance depends on the quantity and quality of these vital necessities. They are the only things that recharge these batteries and allow for the proper elimination of metabolic wastes.

By now, we all are aware that there is a connection between our internal health (physical and emotional) and acne, so suffice it to say that if something as minuscule yet essential as sleep is for improving health, then we must seek to get plenty of it to aid in acne control.

Here are some tips to help you sleep better

-Cut caffeine

-Avoid alcohol as a sleep aid.

-Relax before bedtime.

-Exercise at the right time for you.

-Keep your bedroom quiet, dark, and comfortable. –

-Eat right, sleep tight.

-Avoid Excessive Napping.

-Keep pets off the bed.

-Avoid watching TV, eating, and discussing emotional issues in bed.

Besides rejuvenating the body, sleep eliminates chronic stress which most people will tell you aggravates acne problems.

Borrowing from one of my previous posts, remember to sleep on the right side, with a clean pillow-case and hair that's free from greasy products.

So there you have it: Sleep better to improve your skin...and overall health.

 ere’s to clearer skin naturally,
