BMI stands for Body Mass Index and is a measurement that is commonly used to assess your weight relevant to your height.You do this by dividing your weight in kilo's by your height in meters squared.

 

Convert pounds into kilograms by dividing by 2.205.
Convert inches into meters multiply by 0.0254.

For example,if your weight is 80kg and your height is 1.8m,your height squared is 3.2m.Divide 80 by 3.2 and your BMI is 25.

A healthy BMI is in the range of 18-25 but this is only one factor in your health and weight and is only meant as a general guideline.
