I feel very self-conscious about exercising - how can I build up my confidence?

 

The best way to overcome this is to exercise with people who you feel you can relate to. Look for activity groups geared towards your age group or specific needs. If you can't find one - start one up! Try setting up your own walking or swimming club. If you don't feel comfortable going outside, start up your own home exercise video club.
