There are Male Fertility Test kits that can be used if you want to check your sperm count, but simple changes in lifestyle can make a big difference too.

These top tips can dramatically improve your sperm health and increase the chances of you and your partner getting pregnant.

1. Limit alcohol consumption
Reduce your alcohol intake to a maximum of two drinks per day. Anything more can cause problems and an excessive intake can lead to impotence.

2. Quit smoking
Smoking has been associated with causing sperm health to deteriorate. It lowers sperm count and can lead to damages sperm which can increase the chance of birth defects.

3. Healthy diet
A healthy balance diet is essential for complete body health. Don't overdo the saturated fat intake and keep your diet high in vitamins and minerals such as zinc, Vitamins A,C and E and folic acid.

4. Exercise
A regular exercise routine will keep you fit and healthy as well as improving your mental attitude and relieving stress - it will also increase your stamina.

5. Stress relief
Don't get stressed as it severely decreases your sexual libido and can even cause impotence in extreme cases. Find ways and techniques to help you stay calm and collected.

6. Sun exposure
Getting some healthy sunshine has been known to have an increase in the levels of testosterone produced by your body - just don't over do it.

7. Weight loss

8. No drugs
Drugs (including hormonal drugs such as steroids) have been known to lower sperm count and increase the number of abnormal sperm produced.

9. Avoid extreme heat
It has been proven that overheating around the groin (particularly the testicles) has a detrimental effect on sperm - they really don't like it. Avoid wearing tight underwear (wear boxers, not briefs) or tight trousers, don't place a hot laptop on your lap - use a desk instead, avoid jacuzzis and don't have your bath water too hot. Keep it cool!

10. Keep it regular
Having regular sex life is important as your body will regenerate new sperm to replace any old or lost sperm. However don't overdo this. If you ejaculate more than twice daily it can produce a negative effect. Also try not to use vaginal lubricants during intercourse, as the chemicals contained within can effect sperm health.

Make these small changes to your lifestyle to improve the health of your sperm and improve your fertility. If you are still experiencing problems, you can always perform a simple Male Fertility Test at home to check the level of your sperm concentration.
